Creation
is the association of intuition with know-how. When outdoor leisure
sports began to progress, Cornilleau were the first to break with
generally accepted ideas and to imagine a table that could resist
extremes of weather and stay outside without deterioration. A new
direction had been forged. Cornilleau, who pioneered the use of high
density resin laminate for the manufacture of outdoor tables, also
invented the process of panel assembly directly on the frame, making
use of expansion joints to withstand climatic stress, a technique
borrowed from aerospace! Intensive research and development also
gave birth to the process of integrating the white lines of the panel
with the melamine, making the lines inalterable, as well as the “MATTOP”
